ARW Blogging Assignment 6

The most useful approach to use in critically analyzing The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemmingway is Santiago as a Christ Figure. In last NP class, Mr.Wadden explained the relationship between Santiago and Christ. Santiago's situation is similar to Christ. In addition, sometimes his pose is very similar to Christ. I think Hemmingway described Santiago as Christ.

Assignment: "How do "good" university teacher present imformation?"

According to Meiland, a "good" college teachers present information in the following way.
In general, good college teachers present some information, in the sense of "what is currently believed." Yet they also spend much time talking about the basis on which this information is currently believed.
I agree with this opinion on the whole. We were demanded to memorize facts and to understand current belief. I think we need to deal with and examine information we learned so far as "what is currently believed" in college. If one thinks about matter along with authority, he/she can not come up with new ideas. And I also think a good teacher shows relation between the information students learned so far and present matters we should discus and solve. And a good teacher encourages students to think how to solve these matters.
